Fall. Sunny. Blue sky. Warm highlights.
The Vista Avenue Viaduct, or as you may know it: the Vista Bridge. It’ll get you to Portland Heights from downtown Portland. It also, unfortunately, has a bad reputation of being used for suicide.
Along with a fence to prevent suicides you will see documentation of people trying to start a Love lock Bridge, views of Downtown, Jefferson St., a BMW dealership, messages and hotlines, and the Washington Park Historic Reservoir (under construction); beyond the bridge is a walk to the Washington Park entrance in which they are constructing the reservoir; a water fountain, and statue of Sacajawea are also present.
This series ends underneath the bridge along Jefferson St. and the surrounding neighborhood. Low-angle Views of the bridge. Bountiful ivy. The MAX train. And some colorful sidewalk art.
